The plugin features sixteen sequence slots which can be chained together to form longer sequences. The sequencer can be synced to the host application or run in free tempo mode. There are multiple playback modes available, along with sequence transpose functionality. Also included is the swing feature for creating shuffled sequences. The plugin can save custom presets for later use and comes with a selection of factory presets to help new users get started with the software
In addition to the step sequencer, SequencAir also features a monophonic virtual analog synthesizer. The synthesizer module can be switched off if the user wants to use the sequencer for pairing with external plugins or hardware devices. The built-in synth follows the basic single-oscillator architecture with three waveform types (square, saw, noise), a resonant filter, a very simple envelope, velocity sensitivity, and portamento. Paired with an external delay effect, the synthesizer module can be used to create classic analog-style arpeggio sequences and basslines.
